Every numbered week of the year with its check-in and check-out dates, so you can tell what "week 31" means without counting on your fingers. Pick Friday, Saturday or Sunday changeover, switch to 2026 or 2028 if you need to, and print it.
How the weeks are counted here:week 1 starts on the first Friday, Saturday or Sunday in January, and every week runs seven nights to the same weekday. Resorts and exchange companies do not all count this way, so check your deed or your resort's own calendar before you book travel around a week number.

A worked example: four families and the July weeks
Week numbers are not only for timeshares. They are one of the simplest ways for a few families to split the best part of summer at a house they own together.
The assumptions: four families, a lake house with Saturday changeover, and four summer weeks everyone wants, weeks 27 to 30. Each family takes one. The next year every family moves one week later and whoever had week 30 goes back to week 27, so in four years each family has had each week once.

The rotation is why this is fair. Week 27 is the one with the fireworks and it moves to a different family every year. Week 30 runs to the end of July in both years (July 24 to 31 in 2027, July 22 to 29 in 2028), and the family stuck with it this summer knows they get the holiday next summer, or at worst the summer after.
What the numbers leave open is everything else: the spring weekends, the week in October someone wants for a birthday, the nights a family gives back because plans changed. A written rotation is silent on all of that, and that is where most of the arguing tends to happen.

Questions about week numbers
Why does my resort's week 27 not match this page?+
Because nobody agrees on where week 1 starts. This page starts it on the first Friday, Saturday or Sunday in January. Another calendar may count from a different day or begin week 1 in late December, and a deed can name its own calendar outright. If your paperwork gives dates for even one week, line it up against this table and you will see at once whether the two count the same way.
Why does 2027 have 53 weeks here?+
Only with Friday check-in. January 1, 2027 is a Friday, so week 1 starts that day, and 52 weeks later brings you to Friday, December 31, which is still in 2027. That leftover week becomes week 53. With Saturday or Sunday check-in, 2027 has the usual 52. In 2028, a leap year, it is the other way round: Saturday and Sunday get a week 53 and Friday does not.
Is this an official timeshare calendar?+
No. It is our own table built from one stated rule, and it is not affiliated with any resort or exchange company. It is handy for planning and for families who share a house by numbered week, but for a timeshare you own, the calendar your resort publishes is the one that decides which dates you actually hold.
Can a family share a house by week number without a timeshare?+
Yes, and it works well for a lake house or cabin with three to six families. Each family owns a block of numbered weeks, the blocks shift along by one each year so the holiday weeks travel, and everyone can see years ahead which dates are theirs. The weak spot is the weeks nobody claims, which is where a shared calendar that tracks nights and refuses double bookings earns its keep.
